Alumni @ Hyde Park 2017
Hyde Park holds a special place in the hearts of many Roosevelters. It is where many of us engaged in political discussion with people across the country, strategized to build power, and made life long friendships.
The current political climate is evidence for the fact that we need to work now, more than ever, to foster the next progressive movement. This has been a hard year for progressives across the country, which is why we take comfort in. The weekend is an opportunity to heal and reflect, as well as, to build power in community with one another. Come make new connections, reunite with old friends, and freshen up your intellectual and political chops.
Over the course of the weekend, we will pull on the spirit of Hyde Park to explore the challenges of our time – with Roosevelters who are taking the lead to solve them – Let’s strengthen the intellectual backbone of our generation.
We hope you will join us August 4-6, 2017 for one of the most creative and fun weekends of the year. Register now!

Will this Hyde Park coincide with the annual student leadership summit in Hyde Park?
Yes, Roosevelt alumni and students will be in Hyde Park together. While the two gatherings are organized separately, there will be several formal and informal opportunities for alumni and students to meet and collaborate.
Is this conference open to people who haven’t done Roosevelt before?
This community is unique because of our shared experience as Roosevelters. In order to celebrate all the accomplishments of the last ten years and to continue to support our connectivity as a network, we are only allowing registrants with previous Roosevelt involvement.
Can I bring a car?
Yes! Attendees are welcome to drive to Hyde Park.
Do I have to attend the entire weekend?
No, you are not required to attend all three days (for those of you who cannot get off work to arrive in time for Friday dinner). However, it’s highly encouraged that you attend the whole weekend.
