Amy Chen is a digital strategist who serves as the Senior Digital Associate for the Roosevelt Institute, developing social media, email and web strategies and engaging digital campaigns to mobilize and amplify the work of Roosevelters to reimagine the rules of our economic and social policies.
Prior to joining Roosevelt, Amy served as the Online Communications Manager for PowerPAC+, where she developed digital strategies for the release of the New York Times Bestseller Brown is the New White and worked to build the political power of the multiracial majority. Previously, she has held roles advocating for human rights and social justice issues with Amnesty International USA and the ACLU of Northern California. She is also a founding member of the California Women’s List, a political action committee dedicated to fundraising for, supporting and electing women to California state office. She holds a holds a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. In her spare time, Amy enjoys binge-watching Netflix, traveling, and attending protests.
