Banking 101 question for the usury-friendly

If the Fed loans you money at basically zero interest rates and you get to lend it out at 20%, 25%, even 30%, could you make money?

If you answer yes, loads, then you can be a banker in the year 2009.

The people of Industrial Areas Foundation have launched a campaign to get usury laws back on the books. They were taken off by a Democratic President and Democratic Congress in 1980. The campaign is called 10% is Enough and here is a nice short video on the issue and people getting involved.
