Katy is a Program Director for the Roosevelt Institute’s Next American Economy (NAE) and Financialization projects. She brings a range of policy and advocacy experience working on economic and social policy issues for local and federal government agencies. She served as a budget analyst for the City of New York’s Office of Management and Budget where she focused on education initiatives. Prior to moving to New York, she worked on economic and financial regulatory issues as a legislative fellow in the U.S. Senate and served as a management consultant providing program management and strategic planning support to federal agencies. Katy has an MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics and B.A. in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
