Marybeth Seitz-Brown is a Senior Program Associate for the 21st Century Economy Project and the Economic Inclusion Project, to which she provides research, writing, and program support. Formerly, she was a member of Roosevelt’s development and executive teams. She earned her BA in Linguistics cum laude from Columbia University, where she was a student organizer for workers’ rights and ending rape culture. Outside of Roosevelt, Marybeth works with the New Sanctuary Coalition to prevent asylum-seekers from being deported and with the Parole Preparation Project in solidarity with people who are incarcerated. She is the proud chair of Roosevelt’s bargaining unit, represented by the NewsGuild of New York.
