Amber Marsh

Amber Marsh is in her second year at Northwestern Michigan College and is pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and plans to transfer to Ferris State University for a Bachelors in Business Administration through NMCs University Center. Marsh served on the Faculty Excellence Committee at Northwestern Michigan College this year and has immense pride for her school. She has experience working as a professional from her twelve years working in and managing Retail Banking locations throughout Michigan.

Amber is active in her community, working as a Cosmetologist in a local salon, is active in her children’s family council, leads a women’s group at her church, and runs the FA Teen Closet in a neighboring rural community Middle School / High School Complex.  Her passion for the Teen Closet anchored donation partners securing food, winter jackets and clothing for the students. Her plans are to continue to grow the pantry into a community-wide organization, assisting students and their family alike. Her lifelong participation in 4-H helped her to understand the true meaning and value of community and she is striving to make hers a better place.
