Mariah Hanson

Mariah Hanson is currently a student at North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Previously, she worked with the Power Shift Network and MN350 on hosting an event on campus that covered the intersection of missing and murdered Indigenous Women, sex trafficking, and oil pipelines. She is working towards getting her AFA in Creative Writing, where she specializes in Playwriting and Screenwriting to tell the stories of often unheard voices. As a Forge Fellow with the Roosevelt Institute, she seeks support for her passions in storytelling and writing through lobbying and engaging students with important conversations.
