We need to use the power of our numbers and our solidarity and lead these fights against corporate greed, against structural racism against economic inequality. This is where it starts – with more than a thousand young folks organized and standing together in this fight. let’s do this.

Take a look at some of the press coverage following the NextGen Illinois Convention on September 27th, 2014. The event brought together young people from Illinois just before the November 2014 midterm elections. Students and young people ages 14-34 addressed important topics such as equitable outcomes in education for Illinois students, relationships between communities of color and local law enforcement, and democratic reform opportunities that could restore faith in Illinois elected officials.
