Danica Stewart is the major gifts officer at Roosevelt where she plays a key role in the organizations fundraising strategy to develop and execute a new individual giving program.


As the major gifts officer at the Roosevelt Institute, Danica cultivates and stewards donors from a broad and diverse community of stakeholders by creating and piloting new ways to engage donors, manage the individual giving pipeline, and other individual giving campaigns. 

Prior to joining Roosevelt, Danica worked in health care and education. Most recently, Danica directed the development team at Reading Partners in developing fundraising strategies, stewardship planning, and managing the foundation portfolio, while also managing individual and foundation relationships to build strong partnerships to ensure that all programs, revenue streams, and events were fully financed. 

Danica is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health and Business Administration from Benedictine University, and received her Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
