Undergraduate Fellowships

The Roosevelt Network develops and supports undergraduate college students and early career professionals to be the next generation of leaders in the progressive policy ecosystem. As threats to democratic norms are on the rise and authoritarianism is knocking on our door, the urgency for our movement is clear. We will win this generational battle of ideas by working together to build momentum for a more democratic economy. That people-powered future starts with us. Roosevelt Network undergraduate fellowships give students a chance to help shape that future: your ideas are sharpened, your skills are honed, and you build the strategic vision to deliver the policy change we urgently need. As part of our intergenerational community, you get to imagine and cocreate a policy agenda that champions security, dignity, and agency for us all.

Our Fellowships

The thread that cuts across all three of our fellowship programs is simple: equipping students with the tools to explore policy issues they care about, and supporting this experience with deep, intergenerational, mentorship from multiple stakeholders invested in their growth.

Forge Fellowship

• Foundational policy skills

• $2,000 stipend

• Apply as high school senior or college first-year

• Virtual, summer and fall semester
