Katie J. Wells is a senior fellow at Groundwork Collaborative in Washington, DC, and a coauthor of Disrupting DC: The Rise of Uber and the Fall of the City (Princeton University Press, August 2023). She writes about how tech affects the way we live in cities, and especially how we govern them. Wells has a deep commitment to public outreach and, in addition to testifying at the DC Council and US Congress, has discussed the real-time impacts of her research with the New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, ABC National News, and CBC News, among others. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Georgetown University and Virginia Tech.
