As the Communications Associate at the Roosevelt Institute, Alice Janigro supports press and media functions across the organization. Janigro tracks the news and conducts media research to inform Roosevelt’s communications strategy, particularly as it relates to media relations. Working with members of the advocacy, network, and think tank teams, she supports interaction opportunities with the press. A member of the communications team, Janigro has also helped implement measurements of success for media relations work at Roosevelt.
Previously at Roosevelt, Janigro worked as an intern with the Roosevelt Network in the New York City office. Prior to Roosevelt, Janigro worked as a field organizer with Elizabeth Warren’s re-election campaign and the Massachusetts Democratic Party. She has also interned in the offices of Sen. Sherrod Brown and Sen. Elizabeth Warren. She is a 2019 graduate of Tufts University, where she received a BA in international relations with an international trade focus and a minor in Italian. At Tufts, Janigro worked as a research assistant for the Tufts Labor Lab and was part of the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life.
