Alicia Vallette is a student at the Community College of Rhode Island, where she is working towards an A.A. in Liberal Arts and an A.S. in Science. Alicia sits on the Student Senate and on multiple college-wide governance committees, where she advocates for more equitable policies and practices with the entire campus community in mind. She also serves as both the President of her college’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and as President of the New England Region.

A recent graduate of the College Leadership Rhode Island program, Alicia is a dedicated servant leader committed to creating positive change and dismantling systemic barriers. Alicia’s commitment to voting rights has lent to sit on the Advisory Board for Students Learn Students Vote Coalition and the Student Advisory Board Campus Vote Project. Alicia is thrilled to join the Roosevelt Network as a Forge Fellow, to develop skills to address issues such as economic inequality, democratic participation, and climate change.
