As the Roosevelt Institute’s events director, Brian Mandel manages the production and coordination of all external and internal events, including policy convenings, panel discussions, webinars, fundraising events, student networking convenings, and internal retreats. He has over 10 years of experience in nonprofit and issue-oriented events management. Prior to joining Roosevelt, Brian worked as the director of events at J Street, a liberal foreign policy advocacy organization, planning advocacy and political events. He graduated from American University with a BA in history. He currently resides in the Hudson Valley with his husband and dog, Otto.
