Joe Peck

Joe Peck is a researcher at the Roosevelt Institute examining how public investment can improve economic outcomes for underserved communities. He works alongside senior fellow Betony Jones, formerly director of energy jobs at the US Department of Energy.

Joe also serves as a research associate at The Productivity Institute in London, for which he examines how policy can improve economic mobility for working people. He has worked at the Urban Institute, the Federal Reserve, the Yale Sociology Department, the Center for Economic and Policy Research, and under Katherine S. Newman, provost and professor of public policy at the University of California, Berkeley.

He holds a BA from Yale University, where he studied economic history, and an MRes from University College London.
