Before coming to Roosevelt, Tahis served as a program coordinator at the Georgetown Center for Social Justice (CSJ), supporting social justice education, tutoring, and advocacy for low-income immigrant families in Washington, DC. While working at the CSJ, Tahis engaged in first-response efforts with the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network, supported Latinos and other underserved communities alongside the Latino Economic Development Center, and served as a member of the Student Executive Council for United We Dream.
Tahis has a BA in government and sociology from the Georgetown University College of Arts and Sciences and currently resides in Washington, DC.
