Policy for the People Congressional Fellowship
The Policy for the People Fellowship is a new educational program for congressional staff organized by the Roosevelt Institute in partnership with the Progressive Talent Pipeline to educate participants about public policy and economic reform ideas.
It will run from October to December 2026, with two half-day seminars: the first in early October (either Friday, October 2 or Monday, October 5th, to be confirmed shortly) and the second on Friday, December 11.
Applications for the pilot Policy for the People Congressional Fellowship are open!
You can apply by filling out and submitting a short application here or below.
Participation is limited to permanent mid-level staffers, interns are not eligible to apply. We particularly encourage legislative assistants, policy advisors, and committee counsels to apply, as well as other congressional staff at a comparable level. Pre-clearance of participation in the fellowship with your supervisor prior to applying is strongly encouraged.
