Roosevelt Institute Names Stefan Romberg as Chief Development Officer

New York, NY—The Roosevelt Institute, a national economic policy think tank, announced today that Stefan Romberg will head fundraising for the Roosevelt Institute, its sister organization Roosevelt Forward, and the affiliated Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum. Romberg will bring his expertise to bear on building relationships with foundation partners, increasing individual donations, and creating a diverse revenue stream needed to support Roosevelt’s research, policy, and leadership development work to rebalance power in our economy and democracy at this unique moment in our country’s history.

In his nearly two decades of work fundraising for nonprofit organizations and progressive policy and advocacy institutions, Romberg has worked directly with leaders in policy, journalism, and advocacy to build the resources to advance their change-making work. He most recently served as Senior Vice President at Schultz & Williams, a national fundraising consultancy. Prior to that, he was the Chief Development Officer at the Center for American Progress, where he worked for over a decade and two separate tours.
