About the Roosevelt Society
The Roosevelt Society is a community of people bonded by a pro-equity worldview—fighting for an economy and democracy that are more progressive, more inclusive, and more just. Bringing together Roosevelters from all walks of life, and who work across the many sectors where power is being contested, the Roosevelt Society offers programs, events, and networking opportunities to help build power for our people and our worldview.
The Roosevelt Society brings together the Roosevelt Network (our program that supports and trains undergraduate college students and early career professionals), our Roosevelt Institute Fellows, and our community of progressive economic academics, political staffers and appointees, fellow think tanks, and philanthropic allies under one roof.
Ideas alone will not move the needle—people are key to innovation and success. The Roosevelt Society’s mission is to expand the network of those working toward a new vision for our economy and democracy.
We will only win big things when we work together.
Or, as Eleanor Roosevelt herself said, “Nobody really does anything alone…it is only by inducing others to go along that changes are accomplished and work is done.” #RooseveltSociety pic.twitter.com/aRsMJr6Yxk
